Handyware Industries Limited is an FMCG Manufacturing Company. We are into production of seasoning, flavours, and food ingredients.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Machine Operator

Location: Ibadan, Oyo
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

Operate machines to achieve daily/shift production targets.
Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery.
Calibrate equipment and monitor gauges, in alignment with the standard operating procedures.
Ensure compliance to the waste management procedures put in place to manage waste.
Operate tools in order to aid in the manufacturing process.
Work with others in order to ensure that equipment is in proper working order.
Observe and follow company safety rules and regulations.
Perform periodic checks on equipment and solve problems as detected.
Setup and adhere to the cleaning and maintenance schedules of machines to prevent failures.
Comply with all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and Checklist and Manuals.
Investigate root causes in the case of defects make necessary corrections to avoid errors in subsequent batches

Requiremements

Minimum of National Diploma (ND) in Electrical, Mechatronics or Mechanical Engineering or related qualification and field.
Able and willing to follow laid down procedures.
Quality Oriented and attention to details.
Collaborative.
Proficiency with hand tools.
Willing to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
Previous experience in a similar role in an FMCG be an added advantage.
2 – 5 years of experience in manufacturing environment.
Diligent and enthusiastic.
