About the Job

  • At African Alliance Insurance PLC, we understand that our customers put their trust in us to safeguard their most valuable assets. We are looking for an experienced insurance agency manager to lead our team of agents and support staff in providing the highest level of service to our clients.
  • The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, customer service, and team management.
  • They will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to increase sales and grow the agency.
  • Additionally, they will provide leadership and guidance to the team, ensuring that our clients receive the best possible service.


  • Setting and monitoring sales objectives.
  • Providing sales strategies, feedback, and marketing plans.
  • Answering customer queries.
  • Mediating disputes with customers.
  • Contributing to meeting sales targets.
  • Keeping up-to-date with industry developments.


  • Candidates should possess a B.Sc or HND in a related field, M.Sc or MBA is an added advantage
  • Be able to provide mentorship.
  • Strong leadership qualities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Previous experience in Insurance (Five years experience in insurance industry)
  • Must have gotten to the position of Unit/Team Manager in an insurance Firm.
  • Sales acumen.
  • Solid understanding of policies and products.

Insurance Agency Managers need the following skills in order to be successful:

  • Leadership: Insurance Agency Managers are responsible for overseeing the daily operations of their team. This includes assigning tasks, delegating responsibilities and providing guidance to their team. Effective managers are able to motivate their team members and encourage them to work together to achieve company goals.
  • Communication: Communication is the act of conveying information through speech or writing. As an insurance agency manager, you may need to communicate with clients, coworkers and other business representatives. Effective communication can help you convey your ideas and intentions to others, which can help you build stronger relationships and improve your performance.
  • Problem-solving: Insurance agency managers are responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of their company. This includes managing employee performance, ensuring the agency meets its financial goals and resolving any issues

250,000 – N320,000 monthly
