We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Business Development Executive (Construction)

Location: Lagos

Job Description

• This position is for an experienced business developer with strong experience in building and construction industry. He or she is expected to bring clients and develop existing customer base.

Responsibilities

• Establish contact and develop relationship with prospect
• Master how to get construction leads and implement a lead generation strategy
• Develop new relationships within the commercial construction community
• Ability to perform all aspects of selling/closing a project
• Follow up on all outstanding Request For Proposal and estimates with clients
• Achieve the set monthly targets
• Contribute ideas to marketing campaigns
• Build awareness about the company’s brand
• Familiar with architectural specifications and construction design elements
• Generate new sales opportunities by cold calling, networking and client/associate referrals
• Close sales within the assigned segment of operations
• Responsible for the solicitation of project documents and information
• Maintain acceptable profit margins

Skills:

• Experienced in building and construction
• High level of creativity 
• IT literate (Microsoft Office).
• Ability to work with little or no supervision.
• Background in marketing related courses
• Strong communication skills
• Commercially minded
